Venue

The meeting will be held in Lugano, Switzerland. Lugano is the largest city in the Swiss canton of Ticino, the center of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Located on the south side of the Gotthard massif, it benefits from a very friendly climate. Sessions will be held on the Lugano campus of the Università della Svizzera italiana.

Lugano is located near the E35 motorway and on the Gotthard railway line. There are direct trains between Lugano and Milan (1 hour), Zürich (3 hours), and Basel (4 hours). Lugano has a small airport (located in Agno) with flights to Zürich and Geneva, among others. For international flights the airport Milan Malpensa is the most convenient. read more....

Note

May 1 is a national holiday in Ticino. Many shops and restaurants will be closed, and public transport schedules are as on Sundays.
